Brenda Faye Prosise, 58, of Parker, Colorado passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014.
Brenda was born to Joseph and Naomi White on October 7, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan.
She is survived by her husband, Lee, of 35 years; her three children: Paul, Jacalynn, and Bryan, and their families; and her seven lively grandchildren: Gabriel, Melissa, Dustin, Oliver, Noelle, Grace, and Caleb.
At a young age, Brenda was placed into foster care in Julesburg, Colorado, in the home of Andy and Jan Meyer, and then later into the home of Russ and Bev McCracken. Brenda moved to the Denver area where she attended Arapahoe High School. Following high school, Brenda attended
Platte Valley Bible College.
Brenda touched many hearts and lives. She lived a life of selfless significance, pouring so much of herself into helping others in need. For the last 15 years, she had been working in outreach ministry, which led her to the founding of SECOR (Southeast Community Outreach), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization housed at Southeast Christian Church. SECOR and helping people were her passions.
