Brett Andrew Graves

BRETT ANDREW GRAVES , age 46, went home to be with his Lord on February 27, 2015.

Brett was born on December 18, 1968 in Midland, MI. He attended Overland High School, Aurora, CO and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College, MO in 1993. He held positions in commercial property security and was a Deputy at Eaton County, MI. Brett was an avid fly fisherman and loved the streams and mountains of Colorado. He was also a gun enthusiast and military history buff.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Amos-Graves, his mother, Nancy Peters-Offerson, stepfather, Rick Offerson, all of Roanoke, VA; his father, Jack D. Graves, II, and stepmother, Alice Graves, of McMinnville, TN; his step-brother, Robert J. Offerson of Lakewood, CO; his aunt, Shirleyann Langowski (Ed), of Jackson, MI; and numerous cousins in Michigan.

He was predeceased by both his maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as his beloved dog, Kayla.

A Gathering will be held from 1:00-2:00pm on Fri. March 6 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Lakewood. A Memorial Service will follow at 2pm at the funeral home.
