Bruce Allen Shissler was an amazing man. He loved greatly and strongly with his warm heart. He loved his best friend and delightful companion of many years, Debbie Thurlow. They shared each others sense of humor and laughed together all the time. They were true companions that brought meaning and purpose to each others lives. They understood each other and listened to what each needed to say. They were a beautiful couple. Debbie is a wonderful person. Debbie helped Bruce through his toughest times showing her tremendous love and undeniable strength to the man she loves.
Bruce loved his daughters Samantha and Tiffani and Candice and his grand children Gavin, Rene, Adaleetha, Kaidence, Tommy, Alicia, and Leo . He was a teacher and companion, a mentor and playmate. He was a loving Father and grandfather. He was a doctor to the heart.
Bruce was a good son and companion to Paul and Laura Mae. He was always willing to lend a helping hand even when his body was no longer able. He loved to talk and laugh and share his time with them. Even as a youth he brought them great joy, with the occasional headache to test their limits. He knew how to love well.
Bruce was a great brother to Dan. They didn't always understand each others ideas or approaches to life but their love overcame any gaps that they may have had. He appreciated and was appreciated wholly.
Bruce's love extended to his families and all of their friends. He was a father to Jose and Lamont. He loved Debbie's family as his own, Judy, Ann Marie, and Buffie Lee. He loved Michael. He was blessed to have Dianna and Debbie and Pam and Brenda and Tony and Jim who helped him through his toughest times, love shared deeply. He had so many friends that they cannot all be named but he loved each and everyone of you for who you are and for the friendship and laughter and care you had together. Bruce loved each aunt and uncle and cousin not only as family but as friends.
Bruce Loved to entertain and to tell stories. He could be a total goofball to bring us a smile and could enrapt us with a tale true or not with fabulous animation and even dancing. He loved to laugh and laugh with others.
Bruce LOVED the Broncos and everything about them.
Bruce loved to invent and loved his inventions, He loved to create and was an artist a poet and a potter. He loved his small garden and its tasty treats. He loved the mountains and the rivers and the tiniest of flowers. He loved rocks and driftwood and even mud. He loved to fish but not to eat them..
BRUCE LOVED US SO VERY MUCH IT IS NO WONDER WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH
