Candice Renee "Sissy" McKaig, 38, of Denver, passed away April 22, 2015.
She was born June 25, 1976 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Raymond and Joan (Crowder) McKaig. She attended Northglenn High School.
Sissy loved to dance, music and taking the next adventure, traveling extensively. She will be remembered for her feistiness and her kind heart. Candice was known to speak her mind and was a friend for life if you were lucky enough to have her friendship.
Candice is survived by Sister, Brooke J. McKaig; Partner, John Duran; Two Grandmothers, Thea E. McKaig and Geraldine D. Crowder; Many aunts, uncles and cousins, including Nora (Robert) Hagman, Mercedes McKaig and Greg (Lynn) Kordich; Amanda (John) Marshall, Brian Hagman, Matthew Hagman, Clifford (Tracy) Swaim, Thea (Michael) Harold, Christa (Jay) McBurney, Patience McKaig, Aaron McKaig, Jennifer McKaig, Joey McKaig, Evan McKaig, Lauren McKaig; Anthony B. (Lois) McKaig and Dennis B. McKaig; Lifelong friend, Breanna (Bruce) Smith; and Many friends all over the world.
She is preceded in death by Grandfather, Blair W. McKaig, Grandfather, Jack Crowder.
