Carman Lorene Luckey, 82, of Northglenn, CO passed away in her home on October 4, 2026 from Parkinson’s Disease. She was born in Coffeyville, KS on August 4, 1944 to Floyd and Lorene Slaton. Carman was preceded in death by her Husband Dale, her Son David, both Parents Floyd and Lorene, a Brother Chuck, and a Sister Barbara. She is survived by her Son Tim Luckey and his wife Amanda Armenta-Luckey, Grandchildren Timothy Armenta-Luckey and Christopher Luckey, and Sister Mary Slaton. Carman met the love of her life, Dale in 1971 while taking her Son Tim to visit the Luckey Brothers Carnival at Cinderella City Mall in Englewood, CO. When Dale thought it would be funny to get Carman spinning so fast on the Zipper that it ultimately ended up making her sick. He stayed with her until she was feeling better. Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married on March 1, 1972 in Littleton, CO.

Carman was a Leasing Agent for multi-family housing before being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Carman had a soft spot for her furry friends, treating each and every one like the valuable family member they were. Whether it was her Cat, Leeloo or the neighborhood birds, squirrels and bunnies she loved taking care of them all and just sitting and watching them through the window. Everyone who knew Carman knew how much she loved her arts and crafts, whether it was crocheting, coloring or bead making. She really enjoyed making beaded bracelets and necklaces but enjoyed giving them away even more and seeing the joy on everyone’s face when they picked out the special one they wanted. We couldn’t have asked for a better Mother or Grandmother and we will miss Carman every day. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.
