Carmela M. Chavez , 76, of Denver, passed away May 2, 2015.
She was born June 17, 1938 in Walsenburg, Colorado, the daughter of Maximillion and Agrapina (Vigil) Jaquez. She was a graduate of West High School. In 1961, she married Tony Chavez.
Carmela was a true Broncos fan since 1962. She will be remembered as a great mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her entire family.
Carmela is survived by Daughter, Sybil A. Cruz; Two Sons, Tony Chavez, Jr. and Darrin (Annette) Chavez; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren with One great-grandchild on the way; Sister, Norma Aguilar; One Brother, Roger (Cecilia) Jaquez, and Many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by Father, Maximillion Jaquez, Mother, Agrapina Jaquez, Husband, Tony Chavez; Daughter, Sabrina Chavez and two brothers, Rudy Jaquez and Orlando Jaquez.
