Carter L. Hauschild

HAUSCHILD, Carter Leland, age 76, died June 11 in Lakewood, Colorado. Born July 28, 1935 in Denison, Texas, he is preceded in death by his parents Bart and Margueritte Hauschild, and his son Mark Hauschild. He is survived by his wife Mary Lynn; brother Larry Hauschild and his sister Sandy Gingery; his son Doug Hauschild and wife Patty, his stepson Harley Fehlman and wife Cindy; grandchildren Kim Hauschild, Rob Hauschild, Michael Hauschild, Laura Martinez Gomez (Rapha), Lisa Piskule (Mike), Leslie Hurt (Chris) and Donald Fehlman; and eight-and-a-half great-grandchildren.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, both in active duty and as a reservist. He retired from the Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer in 1988.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. MT on Friday, June 22 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, So. Pierce & W. Jewell Ave., Lakewood, Colorado, followed by burial with honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. Flowers should be sent to Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro Chapel, 901 S.
