Catherine Adriana Dixon

After not being seen for several weeks on August 24th 2025, Catherine Adriana Dixon was found to have gone home to be with the Lord. She was born in Montevideo, Uruguay on August 5th 1955 at 6:05 a.m as a failure to thrive infant. She lived in three different countries, graduated from high school, tried to find a job but her autism made her intolerant to stress of any kind. She did some pretty risky behaviors during her lifetime, but God protected her from harm. Finally, she received desperately needed help through government assistance for the disabled. At her best, she had a charming, dry sense of humor, was very opinionated and had great strength of purpose. She enjoyed small animals, especially her cats. Horror movies, southern gospel, John Lennon and The Beatles, Stephen King, Science Fiction and Cookbooks. Over time, she became more weak and withdrawn, refusing any assistance from social services, assisted living, medical support and family help. She could barely walk even with a walker. She eventually succumbed to adult failure to thrive. She's survived by an older sister, two nephews and one niece. She was laid to rest next to the mother she adored, on November 17th 2025, in Belpre, Kansas.
