CHARLES EDWARD "CHARLIE" GREEN

Aged 68 years, passed peacefully from this world on 09 March , 2013. He is survived by his wife Janice, son Terry, daughter-in-law Terri, daughter Loree and son-in-law, Martin Bradley, and daughter, Jackee, sisters Shirley and Dorothy, and brothers Oscar and Marion (Ronnie. The light of his life, his granddaughter Ellie Green, and his grandson, Trevor Bradley, will carry his memory for years to come. He is additionally survived by a multitude of family and friends that reveled in his sense of humor and ready smile.

Charlie was a native of Harrah, Oklahoma that became a Colorado transplant in 1978. He graduated from Harrah High School in 1963 and continued to learn from life every day. He spent his work life in a mix of jobs that ranged from working for Oklahoma Gas and Electric, owning his own motorcycle dealership, general handy-man, and 20+ years as a mechanical systems technician for the Aurora Public Schools. His off work time was filled with adventures and varied pursuits. He was in turn, an avid golfer, bowler, Moto-cross racer, mountain off-road explorer, gold prospector, and general lover of life.

It is impossible to encompass the scope and impact of Charlie's life on the many that knew and loved him on this simple page. He was a giver. He gave to charity all his life. He gave freely of his time and ability to all that he came into contact with. He was always there with a smile, helping hand, and a ready joke. Charlie had a notorious history of providing "stealth help" to those in need. He would fix their homes, accept a check, and never cash it. He always provided to each according to their need.

There are too many stories and fond memories to put on paper. Charlie would have rather had everyone sit around and "swap lies and tall tales" of the adventures and exploits they shared. In his honor, please share the stories you have and the memories of the smiles he brought into each of our lives.
Charlie wasn't a huge fan of flowers….. instead of sending flowers, please make a small donation in his name to the Disabled American Veterans or Paralyzed Veterans of America. These were two of his favorite charities.

We miss you Papa Charlie and are sure that you're already fixing EVERYTHING in Heaven.
