Charles "Chuck" Francis Fowler, passed away September 25, 2014, at the age of 95.
He is survived by, wife Sigrid Fowler, daughter Keirsten Fowler, and brother Gordon Fowler.
He is preceded in death by, father Harry Augustus Fowler, mother Mary Elizabeth Fowler, sister Helen S Owens, and brothers, Robert Fowler and Laurence Fowler.
Chief Petty Officer Charles Fowler retired from the U.S. Navy after 26 years of service. During his service he received numerous honors including: National Defense Service Medal bronze star, Korean, China, Asiatic-Pacific Service Medals, United Nations Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.
Upon military retirement Chuck worked for Tracor Inc. as an engineer in the Hydrospace Programs Department for 14 years. He then moved to Colorado Springs, Co, where he started a family.
He loved being a father to his daughter and an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Chuck was truly loved and will be missed.
