Charles Randall Follmer born August 12, 1959 in Cleveland, OH and sadly passed away on January 21, 2016 in his home in Aurora, Co.
Charles (Randy) was the spouse of Gloria J. Follmer, father to Megan, Alyssa and Christopher. Loving grandfather to Juliana Oliver. Son of Charles Follmer and Judith Stepp; step-mother Ruth Follmer. Brother to Tracey Dobbins, Cherie Haught, Debbie Mullenax, Sue Ann Follmer, Cash Naftzger, Clay Naftzger, Janine Naftzger, DeVern Wilson, and Buddy Wilson.
Randy loved fishing, golfing, and hunting. In his earlier years, Randy played baseball as a pitcher in the Rome, OH little league, was the youngest sulkey jockey in northeast OH at the age of 10, and was involved in the showing/raising of show dogs.
He developed his own home remodeling business in 2005; which was his greatest passion in helping his clients beautify their homes. He would love to go to the mountains by himself to fish, hike, and to be alone to listen to the quietness of the forest, the sound of the rushing river, the cooking of the fish he caught over an open fire. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan.
This is a tragic loss for all of us; Randy was the sweetest, kindest person and was the best friend you would ever have. We ask for your prayers; this is a void in our lives that nothing can replace.
Memorial will be held February 5th, 2016 at Colorado Community Church in the afternoon, the exact time will be provided soon.
