Charles Robinson, 56, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on Friday, June 19th amongst dear friends and family after a short but valiant battle against Renal Cancer.
Born on February 22nd in Denver to Irene and Leroy Robinson, Charles grew up in and around Denver and its close-by communities and graduated from John F. Kennedy High. Charles worked at Community College of Aurora starting in 2013 as an Administrative Assistant then as a Procurements and Contracts Administrator from 2023 until present and was a beloved member of Community College of Aurora where he passionately served students and faculty.
Charles loved anything on four wheels and was an active member of the Sunday Afternoon Car Klub which became an extended family as they planned car meetups, rallies, and meals. His faithful chariot amongst the Klub was a beautiful Collector's Edition C4 Corvette that became one of the most appreciated cars within the Klub, certainly magnitudes better than anything circled with a blue oval...
He is survived by his sister Susan, nephews Mark and Michael and niece Marie. Charles was predeceased by his parents and brother George.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date so as to help accommodate out-of-state travelers, and a tentative car rally is in the planning phase as well. For the automotivally inclined, Charles would be thrilled for new members to join the Sunday Afternoon Car Klub and help spread the message of inclusion, love of the community as a whole, and love for all things four wheeled.
A beautiful life lived, he is missed and will be missed by all who knew him.
