Charles Vigil

Charles Eli Vigil, 81 passed away peacefully on 11/10/14 after a short illness. Charlie was born in Pilar, N.M. on 10/12/33. Charlie and his wife Mary relocated to Colorado in 1951. Charlie was employed at the University of Denver for 27 years as the Zamboni operator, and landscape crew. He was also employed at Alpine ice Center as Asst. Mgr. for 10 years. Charlie was an avid gardener, known for the beautiful gardens at his homes. Charlie also loved stream fishing, whether stream fishing for trout in Colo. to salmon fishing in Canada or the Northwest, to deep sea fishing in Mexico. Charlie is survived by his wife of 63 years Mary, 2 children, daughter Charlotte Gonzales (Santos), son Chris (Denise). 4 Grandchildren Julia Ems (Scott), Tim Gonzales (Carie), Nicholas Vigil (Kortney), and Samantha Vigil. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren. No services planned.
