Charlotte A. Hickman

Charlotte Hickman, of Colorado, joined the rest of her family already at rest on Monday, August 17th. Her parents, Henry and Rose Bauer welcomed her on July 18, 1941. She graduated from West High School in 1959. She married Rudy Zentner on June 10, 1961 and had 3 beautiful children, Cheryl, Dennis and Dennise. Charlotte and Rudy parted ways in June 1978.

Charlotte was married to Billy Hickman on December 30, 1978 until his passing on November 15, 2019. Charlotte held casual jobs of Jeff’s Charcoal Burgers, Warren Beatty Oldsmobile and a small dabble in dental assistant, before she locked into H&R Block for over 35 years.

Charlotte is survived by three children: Cheryl (Bob) Johnson, Dennis (Kathy) Zentner and Dennise (Albert) Gilbu, all of Denver. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Garrett and Annaleya. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Rose Bauer, Husband Billy Hickman, and Brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Marie Bauer.

A viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept 3rd, at 10:00am. Services to follow immediately after at 11:00am, followed by burial services at Ft. Logan Cemetery scheduled at 1:00pm.
