Charlotte R. Prevatte

Charlotte touched our lives with an open and loving heart, a caring smile, and a wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Charlotte was born to the late Henry and Hilaria Lopez on June 7, 1937 in Walsenburg Colorado. She graduated in 1956 at Annunciation Catholic High School and was married to James F. Prevatte in January of 1957. They went on to adopt their son Michael P. Prevatte in 1969.

She mourned the loss of her brother Anthony Lopez on June 22, 2012 and his wife Marie on April 2, 2016. She is survived by her Husband, her Son, and her Brothers Carl and Leonard Lopez, their wives Patricia and Verna, and so many of their loving children.

Charlotte felt great joy and peace from the blessings and love of Sister J. Vianny & Sister Mary Clarita who brought the word of God almost every week to our home.

Also mourning her loss, her extended families, Ben and Ann Valdez and the Binions including Mona, W.S. and their children Jessica, Little Dub and Benjamin. She will also be missed by a long list of friends and family who are too many to name at this time.
