Cheryl Denise Mckinney

Cheryl Denise McKinney, age 57, of Denver, Colorado passed away on August 1, 2013.
She was born to the late Jesse and Barbara Wycoff, January 17, 1956, in Denver, CO. Cheryl graduated from Abraham Lincoln High school in 1974. She had two children, Jennifer and Cory. She married Orie McKinney in 1986 and lived together in Denver, CO.
Cheryl was an Administrative Assistant at the Denver Water Board for over 30 years where her father also worked and retired. She was passionate about family and fishing and always made time for both. She always had a glow about her and could make you laugh. She was always there if you needed her and could play some serious Party Poker.
Cheryl had two English Bulldog's, Darla and Bruiser, and a cat named Blacky who will miss her greatly. Cheryl was a huge fan of the Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club.
She is survived by her Husband of 27 years, Orie McKinney, II; Children, Jennifer L. Ferguson and Cory R. (Nichole) McKinney; Step-Children, Summer Tangeman and Jay Harshman; 5 Grandchildren Xavier, Blake, Kaiden, Cory Michael, and Gabriel; Siblings, Judy L. Clayburg, and Keith G. Wycoff; Brothers-In-Law, Ron, Dennis and Brad McKinney.
Memorial Service on Fri., August 9, 2013 at 2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80226.
