Cheryl Lynn Cruickshank passed from this life into the arms of her Savior at 1:45am on Tuesday, June 19th, 2012 at Exempla St. Joseph hospital in Denver, Colorado, after succumbing to medical complications over several years.
Cheryl was born on December 12th, 1955, at the Madigan Army Hospital in Tacoma, Washington, to Edward Henry Meyer and Marilyn Joyce Meyer. Cheryl and her parents moved back to Minnesota after leaving the Army. When Cheryl was in junior high, they moved to the Denver area, where she graduated from Westminster High School, met and married her first husband, Eddie Wayne Hutchcraft, who preceded her in death, and later married her second husband, Bruce Cruickshank. She lived in Colorado until her death.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved her cats, quilting, and antiquing.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Edward Henry Meyer, and her first husband, Eddie Wayne Hutchcraft. At the time of her death, she was residing in Lakewood, Colorado, with her husband of twenty-six years.
She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Joyce Meyer, of Wells, Minnesota; her husband, Bruce Cruickshank, of Lakewood, Colorado; her three sons, David Wayne Hutchcraft and wife Stephanie, of Denver, Colorado; Chris Dwayne Hutchcraft and wife Stacy, of Denver, Colorado; and Edward Forrest Hutchcraft and wife Brandy, of Arvada, Colorado; four grandchildren, David Elijah, Peyton Nichols, Xavier Lee, and Jayden Forrest; and three siblings, Penny Jean Clapp of Price, Utah; Terry Lee Meyer of Denver, Colorado; and Peggy Lind Nord of Bremerton, Washington.
There is no visitation and a small memorial service was held on Thursday, June 21st, 2012 at a family member's home.
