Christine Jo Shaw, 54, of Aurora, passed away June 28, 2016.
She was born December 25, 1961 in Anchorage, Alaska, the daughter of David and Sandra (Culp) Town. She was a graduate of Smoky Hill High School.
Christine was a volunteer for The Disabled American Veterans for many years and took extreme pride in helping our Veterans. She helped organize and run many events for our Veterans during the holiday seasons so that each and every one would have a warm meal.
She also donated to the ASPCA and the Dumb Friends League as often as she could to help our furry friends in need.
Christine is survived by her children, Catherine and David Shaw. She is preceded in death by her parents, David Town and Sandra Ann Foster; as well as her dearest friend Cecelia Silas.
