Chris Capra passed away in the privacy of his home surrounded by his family in December of 2025.

Chris' family and close friends were an important part of his life; he often referred to his closest friends as "brother" because in his eyes his friends were an extension of his family. Chris was very caring; he would have moved mountains for his family and friends.

Those who knew Chris knew his love for the outdoors. Chris' sanctuary was being outside and on a trail, either biking or hiking.

Chris also had a passion for animals, and it is this passion that has drawn Chris' family to ask for memorial donations be made to The Wild Animal Sanctuary and reference Chris's name.
