"Cliff" was born in Norcatur, Kansas. He came to Colorado at a very young age.
A hard worker all of his life, he spent more than 40 years with the Yellow Cab
Company, enjoying the driving, but most especially meeting all of the people.
He also did accounting and taxes.
Cliff served in the Army during World War Two, and was in the "Battle of The Bulge". He was a very proud American.
He always enjoyed his garden and when he retired at the age of 70 he spent much
of his time working in the yard tending to his lawn and flowers. He loved being with his family and enjoyed having a dog most of his life. Dancing was his life long passion and he loved the music and dancing up until the very end.
The last 15 months he resided at Emeritus at Denver Assisted Living, where
he loved everyone and everyone loved him. He will be truly missed by his family and everyone who knew him.
Cliff is survived by his daughter, Vicki (Harold) Slusser; a brother, Raymond (Frances) Wright and a sister, Lois Wilkinson; one grandson, Hal (Jenny) Slusser and a great-granddaughter, Amber Slusser.
Funeral Services, Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 12:30 PM at the Valley View Church of God, 4390 So. Lowell Blvd., Sheridan, Colorado, with viewing one hour prior to the service. Pastor Mark Testroet, officiating.
Private Family Interment, Chapel Hill Cemetery, with Military Honors by the United States Army.
