Coleta H. Sanders

Coleta H. Sanders, 87, of Denver, passed away April 12, 2015.

She was born August 6, 1927 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the daughter of George and Vernetta (Baker) Andrews. She graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1945 and attended Colorado Women's College from 1945-1947. Coleta worked at Fashion Bar from 1962-1992 and was awarded a personal service award in 1977. On October 6, 1972 she married James Sanders, of Denver, Colorado. Together they enjoyed traveling in their motor home and visited all 50 states! They also had several trips abroad, including Israel, The Holy Land, Greece, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Coleta is survived by her husband James Sanders, of 42 years; children, Karen L. Sanders and Patrick D. (Shelley) Sanders; four grandchildren, Nicoletta Stamison, John Wade "J.W." (Jennifer) Stamison, April Sanders and Emily Richardson; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Phil Andrews.

She is preceded in death by her sons, John and George Stamison, Larry Sanders and her parents.
