Connie C. Nuanes

Connie C. Nuanes, 89, of Denver passed away 5/23/2014. She was born to the late Daniel & Acanita Trujillo May 11,1925 in Trinidad, CO. She attended school in Trinidad. She married Esequel Nuanes June 18,1942. They will have celebrated 72 years of marriage this summer.

They moved to Denver in the year of 1955. Connie was a dedicated stay at home mother & wife for several years. She decided to go into the work force as a Housekeeper & Hotel Service.

She retired right after her spouse retired and shared their love & precious time together dancing & leading wedding marches at Weddings. All happiness they shared together good, bad, & illness. Connie adored her poodle "Precious". She also loved craftwork, embroidering, crocheting, & especially loved decorating for Holidays. She loved dancing & listening to her Mexican Music. She loved family gatherings & Picnics. Her favorite flowers are red roses.

Connie is survived by her husband, Esequel; four children, Katy Garcia, Kelly Nuanes, Sandra Gerlach, & Anthony Nuanes all from Denver. She is also survived by 7 grand kids, 13 great-grand kids, & 1 great great grand-child. She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel & Acanita Trujillo.
