Connie Gonzales passed away peacefully at her home on October 2, 2013 at the age of 66. Connie was surrounded by her loving family who cared for her through out her 2 1/2 year battle with lung cancer. Connie is survived by her loving partner Larry Stubblefield and is lovingly remembered by her mother, Virgina Gonzales of Denver Co, two sisters Vicky Gonzales of Denver and Lucille Mascareñas of Questa New Mexico and one brother Michael Gonzales of Denver, and by several nieces, and nephews, other family members and many many friends.
Connie was a very special woman who enjoyed, traveling, gardening, dancing, and listening to jazz music. Connie will always be remembered for her zeal and enthusiasm for life.
The service of remembrance and celebration of life will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 3801 w. Ohio ave, Denver Co, 80219 on October 14, at 11am.
