Constance Louise Hageman Pahls, affectionately known as Connie, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. Born on June 2, 1932, in Tipton, Kansas, Connie was the cherished daughter of Frances and Edward Hageman. She was a woman of unwavering faith, deep compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her family.

Connie spent her early years in Beloit, Kansas, where she graduated from St. John’s Catholic School. A dedicated daughter, she ensured that home chores were taken care of while her siblings worked at the family restaurant, the Hageman Cafe. This demonstrated her innate sense of responsibility and care for her loved ones.

On October 14, 1952, Connie married her beloved husband, Lewis “Lew” Pahls, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Beloit. Their union was a beautiful partnership, marked by love and mutual respect. The couple's life together blossomed further after Lew's honorable discharge from the Air Force in November 1955, when they moved to Denver, Colorado, to start a new chapter as a family. To this union they welcomed six children: Michelle, Jean, Geri, Lewis (Mike), Jana and Douglas.

Connie was a devoted wife and mother, dedicating her life to nurturing her family and creating a warm and loving home. She was known for her many hobbies, which included sewing, gardening, and active participation in their church, Guardian Angels Catholic Church. She later became a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her in every action and decision.

In the early years of her marriage, Connie briefly worked at New York Life in Denver while Lew attended barber college, but once his business was established, she fully committed herself to raising their family. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments.

Connie is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Frances and Edward Hageman; her husband, Lew; grandchildren Kelly DeScioli and Bryan Harmon; and her siblings: Harold, Frowin, Edwin, James, Kenneth, Linus, William, Ronald, Francis, Joann (Hageman) Willett, and Kathleen (Hageman) Ehlers.

She is survived by her loving children: Michelle (Pahls) Feavel and husband Dave, Jean (Pahls) Barker and husband Dan, Geri (Pahls) Davidson and husband Douglas, Lewis Michael Pahls and wife Lori, Jana (Pahls) Jones and husband Paul, and Douglas Pahls and wife Dawn. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Courtney (Philip) Collins, Michael (Marisol) Feavel, Gerry (Amy) Boysen, Bradley (Tara) Boysen, Christopher Davidson, Erin (Benjamin) Vipler, Christine (Justin) East, Michael Pahls, Alyssa Harmon, Liam (Shyanne)Pahls, and Aidan Pahls. Additionally, she rejoices in the love and laughter of her great-grandchildren: Everett and Benjamin Collins, Natalia, Amelia and Elias Feavel, Lucas, Lincoln, Amy, Logan, Teagan, and Braxton Boysen, Grant and Isla Davidson, Rowan and Elliot Vipler, Carter and Barrett East, Milliani (Milli) and Hunter Harmon, and Aston Pahls.

Additionally, she is survived by her sister Aline Hageman Koster, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Connie's funeral services will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church on December 9, followed by internment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Her life was a testament to the values of love, family, and faith. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

As we remember Connie, we celebrate her remarkable life, her generous spirit, and the profound impact she had on everyone she encountered. In the words of St. Teresa of Avila, “Prayer is an act of love.” Connie embodied this love throughout her life, and it is through this love that she will forever be remembered.
