Craig Edward Mckeever

April 23, 1948 — December 28, 2014

Craig Edward McKeever, 66, of Aurora, CO passed away early morning December 28th with his wife by his side after a short illness. Craig McKeever was the son of Thomas and Phyllis (Wagner) McKeever. Craig graduated from Hinkley High School in 1966 where he was active in the music program and as part of a trio.

Craig answered the call of his country by serving as a Seabee with the U.S. Naval Support Activity in Vietnam supplying food, fuel, munitions and other supplies to operating forces in South Vietnam's northernmost provinces.

Upon return from duty, Craig worked in construction as a glazer.

On the 50th anniversary of their meeting, April 20, 2014, Craig married his high school sweetheart, Gloria Estes, in Aurora, CO.

Craig is survived by his wife; brother Brian McKeever of Black, Missouri; and nephews James and Thomas McKeever of Denver, Colorado and Michael McKeever of Girardeau, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was loved by all who knew his tender heart.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in the honor of Meghan Imfeld and in memory of Faith Imfeld: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Empire Park, 400 South Colorado Boulevard Suite 840, Denver, CO 80246.
