It is with sadness that we share the passing of Cyndie, 63 years, of Wheat Ridge, on November 30, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Elwyn. Cyndie was an inspiration and encouragement to all who knew her as she continually demonstrated that even with extensive disabilities, a person can fully engage in and enjoy life. She lived life true to herself, expressing childlike vulnerability, yet remaining her own person. She was astute in getting her needs satisfied. In doing so, she taught us compassion, humility, and patience.
The beautiful memories of her will forever bring a smile to our faces. Cyndie will be missed by Rachel and Gary (Caregivers), Phil (Resident Roommate) aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
We sincerely thank DDRC, Dungarvin Colorado, her support workers, respite caregivers, and medical team for their generous and consistent care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, 11177 W. 8th Ave., Lakewood, CO. 80215.
There will be a private interment in Kansas.
