Dan Butler, 79, of Denver, passed away June 30, 2023

He was born in Columbus, Ohio by James Newton Anthony Butler and Nellie Sena Webb where he was the youngest of 12 children. Dan served in the US Army and then later began his own company Butler Heating & Air.

Dan is survived by his sister Nancy, his son Daniel Clark Butler Jr., step-children Steve Willson, Suzanne Potter, Leah Harrison and Chris Cheek as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary DeLois Butler (Godfrey), brothers & sisters Jack, Bob, Dink, Babe, Donna, Ruth, John, Tommy, Aggie, Patty and step-son Jeffrey Cheek.

We will remember him for his love of western movies, classic cars, generous spirit and a contagious laugh.

Viewing and services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home from 10am to 11am Wednesday July 26th followed by 1 pm burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
