Darold Wayne Staab, a lifelong resident of the Denver area, passed away at the age of 76. Born in Denver, Colorado, on May 6, 1949, Darold was the first-born of four siblings to Frederick and Catherine Staab. He remained a true Coloradan throughout his life, eventually settling in Littleton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ron. He is survived by his brother, Michael and sister, Cindy.
A man of service and dedication, Darold served his country in the United States Marine Corps Reserves for eight years. That same spirit of commitment carried into his professional life, where he spent his career with Denver Public Schools until his retirement.
Beyond his professional life, Darold was defined by the things he loved. In his younger years, he found freedom on the open road, taking long motorcycle trips that allowed him to see the country from two wheels. He was a passionate sports fan, and you could always find him cheering on his home teams, the Denver Nuggets and the Denver Broncos. Whether it was the rhythm of a country song or the excitement of a game, Darold appreciated the simple joys of life.
Above all else, Darold's Christian faith held the most important place in his heart. It was the foundation of who he was, guiding his path and providing him with strength and comfort throughout his journey.
He will be remembered by those who knew him as a man of deep faith, a loyal brother and son, and a proud Marine.
