Darrell Wade Morris

Darrell Wade Morris, age 68, passed away peacefully leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was a loving husband to Melodie, his partner in life and in everything. Darrell was a devote father to his son Darrell (Sandy), and daughter Jennifer (Aaron). He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren Justin (Kirsten), Caleb, Bree, Conner, Jake and Haley. Darrell was also a beloved great-grandfather to Kayden and Jax. He was a big brother for his little sister Cheryl (Tom). Survived by sister-in-law Patty, numerous nephews, nieces.

He is preceded in death by Leon, Zelma, brothers Brad (Ella) and Brian.

Darrell had a passion for fishing and hunting. Loved spending free time enjoying the outdoors and creating special moments with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Known for his quick wit, and sharp tongue, he was always a smart ass and enjoyed life to the fullest.

He was a man who cherished his family, loved life, and had a humorous spirit that touched everyone around him. Darrell memory will forever live on in the heart of those who knew him.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday September 13, 2025, at 11:00am Newcomers Funeral Home 190 S Potomac Street Aurora, CO 80011
