David Brian Falasco, 65, of Denver, died Saturday, February 27th, 2016
David was born to the late Robert E. Falasco and Patricia I. Falasco, August 27th, 1950 in Denver Colorado. David went to Saint Patrick's Grade School, Mount Carmel High School, and graduated from North High School in Denver.
David was a business man who saw opportunity and made the most of it. He owned several businesses one, "The Jean Trader" was his favorite. He started it from scratch and loved running it. But David, by the same token, was not too proud that he would not turn to others for advice.
David was a man of passion and a dedicated supporter. He remained a keen sportsman who loved football, baseball and basketball. As a child and teenager he played all three sports. He really enjoyed playing and enjoyed the friendship with the other kids on the teams, some of who became lifelong friends. As a teenager he also was the drummer in a rock and roll "Garage Band". The band never enjoyed great success, played a few local "gigs", but he really enjoyed doing it.
As a young man he tried to make it as a professional athlete. He tried out and was on a team in the old USFL Football League "The California Sun". He never finished the season, as he was "cut" from the team. The following year he tried out for the "Washington Redskins" with the same result, he was cut from the team before the season started. At that point he knew his football career was not to be. He was an avid physical fitness person, he ran, lifted weights, and played ball. He was one of the strongest people around.
David is survived by his mother, Patricia I. Falasco; brother, Robert D.(Nina) Falasco; sister, Laurie (Warren Schweber) Falasco; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass, Friday, March 4, 10:00AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 36th and Navajo St, Denver, with viewing 30 minutes prior to mass.
