David Clinton Newell

David Clinton Newell, 64, of Lakewood, passed away February 18, 2015 after fighting a brave battle with ALS.
He was born February 22, 1950 in Pensacola, Florida, the son of David and Mary (Shurtleff) Newell. He was a graduate of Santa Fe High School in Florida. He attended Casper College in Casper, WY. On January 22, 1977, he married Dale Ann (Rovacchi) Rogers.
David is survived by his Wife, Dale Ann Newell; Son, Chris (Tamara) Rogers; Four Grandchildren, Colin, Wes, Veronica, and Ben Rogers; Brother, Richard B. Newell; Two Cousins, Shirley Brown and Aubrey Shurtleff.
He is preceded in death by Father, David W. Newell, Jr., Mother, Mary Evelyn Hopkins, Uncle, Art Shurtleff, Aunt, Mary Shurtleff, Cousin, Russell Shurtleff and His grandparents.
Funeral Service will be 1pm Friday, February 27 at Lochwood Christian Fellowship, 1354 S Union Blvd. in Lakewood. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Society.
