David L. Hauser, 84, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on November 28, 2025. He was born on October 6, 1941, and lived a full life marked by sharp wit, deep loyalty, and a personality that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
David was many things—beloved, challenging, humorous, and unforgettable. He had a quick mind and an even quicker sense of humor, with a gift for conversation that allowed him to connect with anyone, anywhere. His stories, opinions, and presence filled rooms, and whether you agreed with him or not, you always knew where you stood.
He proudly served as a United States Army veteran. In his younger years, David played baseball in the New York Yankees farm system, an accomplishment he carried with pride. Later in life, he found joy on the golf course and in the company of his friends, valuing camaraderie and routine.
Above all, David was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores Ann Hauser, whose absence he felt deeply. He is survived by his daughters, Daniele Wolff and her husband Jeff Wolff, and Audra Hauser and her husband Greg Achtemichuk. He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Morgan and Brenden Wolff, who brought him great pride and joy.
David was not always easy—but he was deeply loved. Those who knew him best understood that his strength, humor, and complexity were inseparable. He will be remembered for his voice, his laughter, his stories, and the undeniable mark he left on his family and friends.
Rest in peace, Pops. You will be greatly missed.
