David Jon Ostrom

David Jon Ostrom was born April 20, 1961, to Roy and Ione Ostrom in Moorhead, MN. He was raised in rural West Fargo, ND and graduated from West Fargo H.S. in 1979. He worked in the construction field and moved to Denver, CO. Dave met his wife, Kathy Irwin and the couple was married on April 30, 1989.

David was an avid sports fan who enjoyed woodworking, fishing, traveling and spending time in the mountains of Colorado.

He passed away peacefully on June 29, 2012, after a short illness.

Dave is survived by his wife, Kathy, brothers; Gordon (Sandra), James (Laurie) and Gary (Nancy), all from West Fargo, father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Joyce Irwin and their six children and spouses, and several nieces and nephews as well as grandnieces and nephews.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Kathy and nephews; Dean and Eric Ostrom.

Dave will be missed by all, especially his wife, Kathy, Buster and Louie.

A celebration of Dave's life with friends and family will be open house style at his home on Saturday, July 14, noon to 4:00 pm. Please feel free to stop by any time.
