David L. Priest

David Priest was born April 16, 1954 to Ralph and Janet Priest in Lincoln, NE and passed away December 26, 2014 in Aurora, CO.

David moved with his family to Edgewater, CO in 1960. He attended Jefferson High School and graduated in 1972. He attended Colorado State University and earned a BS in Geology. He then worked in the oil industry for several years as a mud logger until the oil boom died down. He then went back to school to learn computer programing and then went to work for the Federal Government, working for the Defense Accounting and Finance Center in both Denver, CO and Indianapolis, IN. He did computer programing for them until he retired in May 2014. He then returned to Colorado in June 2014 and lived at Heather Gardens.

David is survived by his father Ralph Priest, his sister Diane Strein and her husband Glen Strein and their children Brian and Sarah Strein all of Aurora, CO. He is preceded in death by his mother Janet Priest.
