David Michael Boledovich of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on April 18, 2016 at the age of 65.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Frank and Genevieve Boledovich on July 23, 1950. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School and attended a couple of years of college.
David was a very accomplished pianist. He began playing at the age of five and was tutored by some of Detroit's finest classical pianists. This led to David's lifelong love of all music genres and inspired him to join various bands; he also learned to play both the organ and the guitar.
David moved to Colorado in 1982 where he began his Aerospace career. Two years later, he started working at Lockheed Martin, from which he retired. He worked on various missile projects as a quality inspector, most notably the Atlas and Titan rockets.
It was late in David's life when he met Sharry, the love of his life. They were married in 1996 and lived a happy life as they shared many of the same interests including fishing, food and church. David played the piano at multiple churches and Sharry loved attending the sermon and listening to David play the piano.
David was also a gourmet cook; his skill in the kitchen far surpassed that of the local chefs hence Sharry and David seldom went out to restaurants.
David and his brothers frequently fished with their dad on Michigan's many lakes and streams while growing up. David's love of fishing led him and Sharry to purchase some land in Michigan's UP on Lake Gemini about 15 years ago. He finally built his dream cabin where he happily spent his last few retired summers.
David is survived by his wife, Sharry; four siblings, Mark, Vanessa (Joe) Powers, Kevin, and Brian; 15 nieces and nephews and their many children.
