David Timothy Norris-Saucedo

David Timothy Norris-Saucedo, 34, of Aurora, CO passed away Wednesday July 29, 2026.

David is survived by his parents Nancy and Steve Norris-Saucedo and his siblings Brian and Mickie along with their spouses Valeria and Kelsi. He also survived by his grandmother Meth Norris, his nephew Milo, and his partner Vicki Carter. David is also survived by many loving and supportive aunts, uncles, and cousins.

David had a passion for living things and always had a plethora of snakes, lizards, spiders, and cats. Much to his mother’s chagrin, she would sometimes find an escaped snake while cleaning the house. He loved to cook, improvising delicious meals with little or no guidance from a recipe. He made a mean shrimp alfredo and often experimented with Mexican flavors in his dishes. David was an incredible tutor, often teaching math students in both English and Spanish. He was able to meet people where they were and explain things in a way they could understand. Even though the tutoring was years ago, people still express how helpful David was.

David loved spending time with his family. He often talked about hanging out with the cousins at Christmas time in New Mexico. Family time also meant playing Sneaky Sam in the backyard with Milo or being together at the family home while Brian and dad played guitars. Nobody brought as much laughter to family gatherings as David did!

David had a special relationship with his grandma. Whenever he was available, he would head over to her place for a game or two of Racko. Another very important person in David’s life was his partner Vicki. She is a wonderful addition to our family. Because of David, Vicki certainly has learned to be a lover of reptiles.

He didn’t get to go as often as he would have liked but David loved fishing. One of his fondest memories was fishing on a boat at Vallecitos Reservoir in southern Colorado. More recently, David shared his love for disc golf with his dad and his siblings. Many a summer Saturday morning was spent on the disk golf course affectionately referred to as the Lazy River.

David grew up spending Sunday mornings at Aurora First Presbyterian Church and had recently reconnected with that community. He especially enjoyed the music provided by the African Women’s Fellowship.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, 10:00 am, at Aurora First Presbyterian Church, 1585 Kingston St, Aurora CO, 80010. A luncheon reception will follow at the same location.
