David R. Brenner , 85, of Lakewood, passed away May 16, 2017.
He was born June 27, 1931 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Nicholas and Mary (Replogle) Brenner.
He was a graduate of Denver West High School.
On November 27, 1952, he married Patricia Edwards.
Dave was a member of the Englewood Elks Lodge #2122.
Dave enjoyed his trips to Black Hawk and Las Vegas. He also enjoyed growing tomatoes. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Dave is survived by four sons, Larry D. (Pam) Brenner, Randy L. (Debbie) Brenner, Steve R. (Sharon) Brenner and Michael W. (Denise) Brenner; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Brother, Nick Brenner; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia Marie Brenner; father, Nicholas Brenner and mother, Mary Ellen Brenner.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dave's name to Alzheimer's Association of Colorado, 455 Sherman St #500, Denver, CO 80203.
