March 23, 1943 — September 26, 2014

Deana Jo Butts, 71, of Denver, passed away September 26, 2014.

Deana was born March 23, 1943 in Fleming, Colorado, the daughter of Dean and Genevieve (Reibolt) Hill. She attended Sidney High School in Sidney, Nebraska. She met her husband Roger Butts while working in Sidney and Roger was home on leave from the U.S. Army and they were married on December 27, 1959.

Deana worked various jobs during her life including managing restaurants, rental properties and retired working for the United States Agricultural Department.
Deana loved arts and crafts and making personalized greeting cards for family and friends. Her husband and sons were always very important to her as she was often far from her extended family. She was very proud to become a grandmother and treasured her time with her four grandchildren. She was also blessed to be at the wedding of her oldest grandson and meet her first great-grandchild.

Deana is survived by three sons, Kevin E. (Trista) Butts, Rod (Karyn) Butts, Tony (Pam) Butts; four grandchildren, Josh (Kendra) Butts, Kevin Butts, Ivy Butts, and Andrew Butts; one great-grandchild, Leah Butts; two sisters, Cheryl (Danny) Lenz, Connie (Gerald) Barr; and brother, Howard (Cathy) Hill. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger K. Butts; and brother, Randy Hill.
