Debra Lue Koch

Debra Lue Koch, 69, from Denver Colo., went home to our lord and savior on April 27, 2026.

Debra was born to Cecil William Lincoln and Velma June (Dean) on August 17, 1956, in Lusk Wyoming. In 1965 Debra along with her mother and sister moved to Brighton Colo. Here Debra attended elementary and High School and graduated in 1974. After graduating Debra entered the work force at Cessna aircraft in Hutchinson Kansas for 2years. After which she returned to Brighton Colo and started working at a local bank as a teller. In 1981 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Brighton Colo, Debra married Kevin Ells, together they had 2 sons, Robbie Ells and Cory Ells. At that time, she worked with Kevin on the Ells Family Dairy in Lochbuie Colo. After Debra and Kevin divorced she moved back to Brighton. On October 21st, 1989, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Byers Colo, Debra married Donald W Koch, together they had 1 daughter and 1 son, Sanatana Koch and Cody Koch. Debra and Donald moved to Strasburg Colo shortly after getting married. The family moved to Phillipsburg, Kansas in 1992; the family moved back to Strasburg a year later.

While in Strasburg Debra embarked on the most exciting "job "ever being a full-time mother and home maker and helping her mom Velma at Junes Country Store. Strasburg is where Debra would live until 2015 at which time she moved to Denver.

Debra was a most loving and generous mother, sister, daughter and friend. She had a talent in art and upholstery and with care of horses. Her love of gardening shined in the 1-acre garden she planted and cared for every year. Her biggest and most proud love was her children. Her relationship with them and her mother and siblings meant everything to her.

Debra survived by 3 children Robbie Dean Ells (Denver Colo), Santana Dawn Koch (Denver Colo) Cody Wayne Koch (Denver Colo), EX Husband Kevin Ells, Ex Husband Donald Wayne Koch, 3 Grandchildren, Lyric Ells, Colton Ells and Shelby Ells. Siblings Shelia, (Michael) Bass (Strasburg Colo) Gregory (Meredith) Korb (Strasburg Colo) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Proceeded in death by father Cecil Linclon, Mother Velma June (Dean) Korb, stepfather Ben Korb and 1 son Cory Ells.
