Deetta Kae Betz, 53, of Byers, passed into eternal life July 7, 2015.
She was born August 13, 1961 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of John and Etta (Hollar) Davis. She was a graduate of Bennett High School. She attended Pickens Tech. On November 27, 1981 she married Jackie Betz, of Aurora, Colorado.
Deetta is survived by her husband, Jackie Betz; daughter, Pamela (Betz) Schroeder; son, Clark Betz; daughter in law, Brittney Betz; three grandchildren, Conor Schroeder, Taylor Brooks, and Deacon Betz; aunt, Connie Hollar; and cousin, Cathy Adams. She is preceded in death by her father, John Fielding Davis; mother, Etta Alice Miller; and sister, Johna Lea Davis. Deetta also had a multitude of other friends and family that she loved dearly.
Deetta enjoyed crafting, gardening, puzzles, and wildlife observation. The thing that brought her the most joy, however, was her grandchildren.
The family asks that no flowers or cards be sent, but instead donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
