Denise K. Nash

Denise Kimberly Nash - Simon, (Niecee) devoted wife and mother, unexpectedly, and peacefully called by God to return to her heavenly home on April 07, 2015, at the young age of 36.

Niecee was a mother figure to so many during her life. And she loved helping others by taking them into our home, caring for them, feeding them, or just talking and listening, she loved to be loved.

Denise was strong-willed, dependable, independent, caring, and funny. She always spoke her mind and was ready to stand up and fight for her family. When someone had a problem, they would call Niecee if they needed a place to stay, hungry, or just needing to talk.

Denise is survived by her husband and soul mate David Simon. On April 1, 2015, David and Denise celebrated 17 years of marriage. Her two daughters Alex (Allie) and Alazaye' (Zay), and her son Daivion (Jah). Her honorary daughter Jennifer "Chicky", her honorary grandson Dontay "Wobbles", her grandparents, stepfather, and Brother Dennis Nash Jr "DJ". Her sisters Desiree Edwards, Jovonna Allen, Alicia Nash, Devona Nash, Chenoa Woods, Quita Allen, Tasha Allen, and Shekela Allen. Many Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, god children, and friends

Denise was preceded in death by her father Dennis Nash, Sr.; her mother Candace Lee Nash; her Uncle James Sherard Jr, "JD"; her grandfather James Sherard Sr.; friend and mother figure Linda Robbins; her grandmother Doris Nash, and her great uncle Robert W. Edwards Sr "Moose"

Niecee will be buried at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2:00 p.m. April 24, 2015. Uncle and Pastor Keita Andrews will officiate the service. The Simon family gratefully appreciates all of the flowers and donations. And are especially appreciative of all the continued prayers, love, and condolences.
