Dennis B. Heit

A man of the church once asked me why I never went to church and I told him that I went to the mountains. I told him that my church was a mountain side somewhere to watch the day pass and the clouds. I told him "I will go to your church if you will come to mine", I think by the time he left he liked mine better.

Dennis Heit came into life on August 19th 1955. He went to be with Jesus on October 16th 2013. The son of Edmund and Marian Heit. Brother to Steven Weber, Delmarie Yandell & Dawn Schultz. Five children: Christina Heit, Tricha Smith, Steven Heit, Jessica Sorensen, and Shawn Breaze. He had seven grandchildren: Austin Versteeg, Christian Versteeg, Dillion Smith, Victoria Versteeg, Payton Malone,Tycen Vanderveldeheit, & Kaylin Sorensen.

Dennis enjoyed adventures, fishing, hiking, drawling, Dennis loved debating, Jesus, his friends, & his grandchildren. Dennis was the arm wrestling champion of Englewood and was very proud of this! He had amazing stories from his travels... met a lot of great people along the way. Dennis was a softy then in a blink of an eye a tough guy. He was very unique in character and a very special soul that will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
