Some of his favorite trips were to South Africa, Holland, Maui, Branson and many other places. They enjoyed taking annual fall trips to the mountains to see the fall color changes and would go to different locations each week, they also enjoyed antiquing and there was rarely an antique store they passed by. He enjoyed watching all of the local pro sports teams particularly the Broncos and Avalanche. He especially liked to golf and fish and had a special way with animals.
