Dennis William Stevens (Denny), 66, of Bennett, passed away July 2, 2015.
He was born May 10, 1949 in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Wilbur and Virginia (Campros) Stevens. He was a graduate of Vandercook Lake High School. On June 7, 1969 he married Mary Hawley, of Napoleon, Michigan. He attended Nova University and received his MBA in 1998.

Dennis is survived by his wife Mary Stevens; children, Corinna (Brian Long) Stevens, Denise Nyan Stevens, Dennis (Kendra Paze) Stevens II; grandson, Isaac William Stevens; brother, Ronald (Mary Jean) Stevens; sister, Judy Busby; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Stevens; mother, Virginia Stevens; and brother, Gary Stevens.

He was in the USAF from 1971 to 1974. Denny enjoyed worldwide travels throughout his career as a computer engineer. He loved coaching youth basketball and baseball leagues. Denny also held the Vandercook Lake High School pole vaulting record for 39 years.

An informal graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Oakgrove Cemetery in Napoleon, Michigan. Following will be a celebration of his life at Bone Island Grill in Vandercook Lake from 2:00 - 5:00 pm.
