Dolores Moots, 92, passed away Monday August 1, 2016 in her home in Aurora, CO.
She was born to the late Jesse and Bertha Weedman, January 28, 1924 in Grygla, Mn. She married the late Howard Moots in Sibley, Iowa on September 18, 1948 and lived in Lamberton, MN until January 1960 when they moved to Aurora, CO.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.
Dolores is survived by one sister, Nadine Wilmes of MN. and six children: Dianna Schaffer, of Sioux Falls, SD, Robert Moots, Roberta, Hurtado, Debbie Thacker, Mark Moots and Monica Moots all of Aurora CO. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Michael Moots, Melissa Cook, Stacy and Natalie Hurtado, Jesse Moots, Nathan and Ryan Thacker, and Kayla and Kyle Moots. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Bertha Weedman, brothers Roy and Richard Weedman, sisters Louis Mae Weedman, Anita Christian and Violet Sparks, grandson Paul great grandson Josiah.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016, 1:00 PM at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1450 Airport Blvd, Aurora, CO. 80011.
