Dolores "Dee" Noel-Skiles, 88, of Denver, Colorado, passed peacefully in her sleep on April 21, 2025. Dee, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, was cherished for her warm smile and independent spirit.
Born to Donald and Reda Moore, Dee distinguished herself early in life as the valedictorian of her high school class in Pennsylvania. She returned to school later in life and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business from Regis College in Colorado, and then went on to run and own multiple businesses. Her dedication and entrepreneurial drive left a lasting impression on those who worked with and for her.
Dee was a devoted mother to her four children: Dina, Gary, Tracy, and Darla. She also took great joy in being a grandmother to Tony, Raegan, Corinne, Camille, Brittany, and Bayley. Her family remembers her as a source of unwavering love and support.
She shared a deep bond with her late husband, Donn Noel-Skiles, whom she lovingly called the love of her life.
During life and in retirement, Dee embraced her passion for travel – by car, plane, helicopter or boat. She explored destinations such as Europe, Hawaii, and Peru and especially enjoyed driving her red convertible through town and into the mountains.
Dee will be laid to rest at Fort Logan Cemetery in Denver on May 5, 2025, alongside Donn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dee's memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (lls.org).
Dee’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her memory bring comfort and peace.
