Dominic R. Bonino

Aurora resident Dominic Bonino, 85, passed away on May 3, 2011 in the comfort of his home. Dominic was born on November 3, 1925 in Trinidad, Colorado, the son of Lawrence & Lola Bonino. He was a wonderful son, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed camping, golfing, and time with his family.


Survivors include brother Rocky Boccaccio, sisters Pearl Sanchez, Shirley Esponosa, Joan Garcia and Carmella Boston; 7 daughters: Loretta Lutz (husband Charles), Theresa Donovan, Veronica Davis (husband Jeff), Julie Bishop (husband Mark), Catherine Katzenberger (husband Russell), Frances Bonino, Margaret Bonino, and son Robert Bonino (wife Kristie). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.


Dominic was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brothers Tony and Bobby.


A service will be held at Newcomer East Metro Chapel 3pm, Sunday May 8, 2011. Viewing and visitation will be held from 1-3pm prior to the service at the same location.
