Donald L. Martin

It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Lee Martin announces his passing on June 30th, 2026. Don was born in 1936 in a small town in South Carolina as 1 of 7 children. He grew up in a great environment where he fished, hunted and roamed the woods with his brothers. Knowing there was little opportunity after high school, Don joined the Air Force at the age of 17, where he served our country for the next 4 years. After being honorably discharged he was employed by the U.S. postal service for 30 plus years. Rising to a supervisor position. After retirement from the postal service, Don had a second career with H and R Block where he developed lasting relationships with many clients that came to see him year after year. Throughout his life Don enjoyed experiencing the world with his first wife, Elaine and later his second wife Kathryn. Don will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
