Donald McClendon, 64, died Tuesday April 1, 2014 at The Denver Hospice in Aurora, Colorado. He was born April 6, 1949 in Guam to William E. and Pinkie McClendon. A celebration of Don's life is scheduled on April 8, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow at Heather Gardens Rendezvous Banquet Room.
Don is a former resident of Casper where he was employed by SWECO Oilfield Service and Community Alternatives of Casper, Gillette and Rapid City. Until his retirement he was employed by the Detention Center for the City of Aurora. He served in the Marines during the Vietnam War.
Don is survived by his wife, Pam; Sons, David and Scott (Kammi); Grandchildren, Cheyenne and Cody; Mother, Pinkie McClendon; Brother, Lewis (Karen) McClendon; and Sister, Vickie (Mark) Lemm.
