From daughter Sharon Gates: To my sweet, beautiful mother, you were a woman like no other. You gave me life, you loved me, you nurtured me, and taught me so much about life and the importance of putting Faith in Jehovah, God, to trust in his ability to help with ANY obstacles that life may present. You set such a wonderful example of how to do that with both dignity and grace. You were truly a woman of Faith. You were my Best Friend. Words cannot describe how much I miss your voice, your smile, our nighttime chats on the phone before bed. My heart aches seeing your empty chair that you once filled with your presence. There is a huge hole in my heart, but I know and trust in Jehovah's promises that death does not end it all, that soon those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up._Daniel 12:2. Very soon my sweet mama, you will awaken from your nap and you will rise and walk the earth again. And at your request we will have a celebration like no other. You were a wonderful person, mother, grandmother, wife, and spiritual sister who helped so many learn about Jehovah and his promises for the future. You will be missed by so many who loved you. It was such an honor to care for you in your last days and hours of life. You were there when I took my first breath, and I was there when you took your last. Until I see you again real soon.
